Flag Ship Store Manager 

Become the Manager of Lobster Made Easy’s first ever store front here in our home of Mahone Bay. We are looking to hire three Co-op students to join our experience in the role of Manager to help manage the location and take the lead on day to day operation for a work term of 4 months (May – August)

As the Manager of Lobster Made Easy your responsibilities will include:

• Managing staff members and ensuring a professional work place is followed
• Commencing end of day sales reports, scheduling of employees
• Communicating with the marketing team to provide insight on consumer behaviour
• Development, coordination, and enforcement of systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
• Maintenance of stock, including ordering and inventory and anti-theft
• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements
• Develop personal growth opportunities
• Defining objectives, identifying and evaluating trends and options, choosing courses of action, and evaluation of outcomes
• Providing coaching, counseling, motivation, and constructive feedback to employees.  Implement effective discipline when necessary.
• Ensuring a safe, secure, and legal work environment

Qualities:

• No seafood allergies
• Creative problem solving
• Positive attitude
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Punctual and eye for detail
• Social media marketing experience (considered an asset)
• Microsoft 365 computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Food handlers certificate (or willing to take course)
• Possess a Valid Driver’s License
• Be willing to submit to a Criminal Records Check
• Ability to flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Anti-theft practices
